Fancy a new city residence and being chairman of the board?

Anderson’s have been instructed to offer two stunning one bedroom apartments and the stunning three bedroom apartment with two bathrooms and the large ‘board room’ living room. The reaction from visitors to the apartments, situated on St Martins adjacent Loseby Lane and Leicester Cathedral has been one of amazement and appreciation of the painstaking care taken to restore such an important Leicester building.

The Grade II listed former Trustee Savings Bank and more recently Bank of Ireland was designed by Edward Burgess and built in 1873. Situated on the corner of St Martins and Grey Friars the building had been empty for 10 years until the recent refurbishment. The bank board room now forms the impressive living room of one of the first floor apartments complete with the original fireplace, pilaster shafts and gothic arcaded four light windows. Here are some photos of the restoration project.

The ground floor is occupied by the independent Delilah Fine Foods delicatessen where lovely fresh food and coffee is served, sampled and available to buy all day. https://www.delilahfinefoods.co.uk/

The deli is a great meeting place and a visit is highly recommended, even if it is just to relax with a coffee and wonder up at the eye catching atrium roof window which has has been fully restored to its former glory, despite being completely 'blacked out' as part of the city war effort.
